I know the idea you're recommending is just a way to accept being switched, but it opens up a looooot of room for people having partial/messy switches that are better to avoid by making it a single event rather than a gradual thing

making it a 'single event' overhypes it and convinces people it's super different leading to old-time ranger and felight situations

i actually liked the how @Ale𝕏andra 🍄🐈 called it "you can do it!" method because it is closer to what i think works the best and actually there is much more to it than just saying "you just [...]"

It's hard to know how to help if I don't know where you are already.

Luminesce: I created my tulpas on accident just through lots of focusing on them as if they were independent entities and interacting with them a lot, and we later learned both imposition ("hallucinating" them, but as a skill) and switching just by hearing they were possible and attempting to do them in a way that made sense to us, no guidance. If so, that's pretty much just tulpamancy. You can do the same thing for your tulpa, and you'd get similar results. There's nothing to it.

You'd want to build a strong relationship with them over time anyways, as you would with anyone you want to have a relationship with, romantic or otherwise.
